How Discounts Work

Discounts are applied in the following order:

  1. Farmington Resident Discount (30%) is applied to tuition only — it does not apply to the Building Rental Fee.

  2. Sibling Discount ($25 per additional sibling, per semester) is then subtracted from the discounted tuition total for each additional child.

  3. The Building Rental Fee ($35 in Semester 1, $40 in Semester 2) is charged per student, in full, and is not eligible for either discount.

Families who qualify for both discounts receive both — they are not "either/or."

Example:

Here's how it works for a Farmington resident family with two children enrolled in Semester 1 group classes, where each child's base tuition is $175:

For Child 1, the 30% Farmington Resident Discount is applied to the $175 base tuition first, which is a $52.50 discount, bringing tuition down to $122.50. The $35 Building Rental Fee is then added on top, since it isn't eligible for the discount, bringing Child 1's total to $157.50.

For Child 2, the same 30% resident discount applies to their $175 base tuition, also a $52.50 discount, bringing their tuition down to $122.50 as well. Since Child 2 is the additional sibling, the $25 Sibling Discount is then subtracted, bringing tuition down to $97.50. The $35 Building Rental Fee is added on top, bringing Child 2's total to $132.50.

Altogether, this family's total for the semester is $290.00 for both children combined.

"Final Tuition Price" refers to the discounted tuition amount only — the Building Rental Fee is charged separately and in full for every student, regardless of discount eligibility.
